Raven has grown accustomed to remaining in the background of life, accepting that she's one of those people you forget the minute you meet them. She works as a housekeeper at a large Las Vegas hotel and one day meets a sexy male guest who changes her life and how she sees herself.
Raven is a member of a special group of people known as the Unmemorables. They have special powers and being unmemorable to other humans is one of those powers. Or is it a curse? Cain is a member of another group with different powers and is tasked with protecting Raven, the only known female Unmemorable. The story itself was original and the characters believable and well drawn. Cain is a hunk and Raven a strong female lead, and even the supporting characters like Rich, Lo and Jackie stand out as individuals. A. P. Jensen did a good job of tying up the story in Unmemorable so it works as a standalone book, but she also left it open for the story to continue in the second book, Unleashed. |
