London Reeves is a twenty-seven-year old woman who works in a marketing firm and has a childish crush on a co-worker who only sees her as a friend. Her four best friends convince her to go out for her birthday and encourage her to find a hot guy for a one-night stand, something that she doesn’t normally do (it’s been three years since she had sex). She gets extremely drunk and picks up a gorgeous man, takes him home, and they eat pizza and play Scrabble before jumping each other’s bones (in very explicit detail in case anyone’s wondering!).
They don’t exchange names—at London’s insistence—and they don’t know anything about each other so although London’s embarrassed and appalled at herself when she sobers up, she figures, okay, it was a wild night, but never again. As you’ve probably guessed, that’s not the end of this story! Sexual attraction came first, but it doesn’t stop there with the two of them, and it’s a fun read to see what happens next. |
